Bio of George Ephrem
Interest in photography started in high school, and continued on to a year of photography
school in Daytona Bch. Fla. Community College. One of the best in the nation.
After his studies in Daytona, he worked in a camera shop in the Jacksonville area, as a salesman.
He is currently a full time fireman in Jacksonville, and has had a business of 14yrs. During
this time he has worked for various clients, local, national and international.
He also had a major role in the last yr. book that the Jacksonville Fire Dept. had
done(‘95), coordinating and shooting most of the pictures for that year book. He has done
numerous jobs for local charities, including a cancer benefit with model Kim Alexis.
George has even had some good parts in movies and television shows that were filmed
in Jacksonville.
Most of his work lately has been commercial and advertising , but modeling work has picked up
some what. He puts in 150% effort for each job that he undertakes, but always has time for a
few laughs with the participants. He treats all subjects with respect and dignity, does not
shoot any nudity, but feels he can make a women feel special, while
keeping the model as covered up as she would be on the beach, or at the pool.
He has just recently started working as a stringer for the Times-Union newspaper.
For hobbies, he likes to go camping, biking , hunting and fishing, and of course , a
camera is never too far away. For whatever photographic needs you have, be it commercial, advertising, portraits,
modeling photos, or industrial, give George a call and see what he has to say. You’ll
probably like it.
